I can’t believe it’s been two years today Mumma G that you left us. It still doesn’t feel real that we will never see you again, but I do know the pain of losing you is a lot to carry, to lose such a beautiful soul like yours leaves a gap you can never fill, forever thankful for our memories just wish time had allowed us more. You would be extremely proud of your three children for the strength they have continued to show, I know I am. You would be proud of all your grandchildren for staying out of trouble and just growing into the lovely little people they are. For every big occasion you missed last year, I know you were right there beside us all beaming with pride. Nothing feels the same without you and sadly that’s the reality and there isn’t a thing we can do to change that, but we can do is to continue to smile at the memories, to honour your memory and to make you proud. Until we meet again I will love you forever and always & and I’ll never stop missing you our Angel 💔

All these weeks and I still have no words, my heart still so heavy. But. I know you would just say to me..."just get on with it". So I look to the hills, to find the strength to keep going. So, I am learning to live, knowing you are in God's care. It gives me the strength to move on, and makes the pain a little easier to bear. I love and miss you dear sister.

I have known Grace and her family for a number of years and although l hadn’t seen her for some time she was never far from my thoughts. She always remembered me at Christmas and never failed to send me a card with best wishes. This showed how thoughtful and kind she was, always thinking of others. We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. I have been sitting here for a long while trying to find the strength to compose my tribute. Trying to control my emotion and put what’s inside in to words and put those words on to paper. How do you express your sadness in pain and in equal measure show my joy and happiness of being blessed to have known such a soul. This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to write as it reminds me of who we have lost but also makes me reminisce on all the wonderful moments shared and experienced. We will meet a lot of different people in our time, some forgettable, some influential, some permanent and some temporary. Grace was a soul that encompass everything good you would wish to recognise in another being. Not the loudest in the room but definitely the most memorable. The purest of souls you will ever meet. Her presence, her wit, her sense of humour, her strength, her love will be missed on another level. God has recalled one of His angels and her imprints has most definitely been left on so many she has left behind. Thank You for helping raise my Sons to the young men we see them as today and I hope they will continue to make you proud as they grow. Rest in perfect peace Mum, you will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Dear Grace. If only you were here to read this. You were one of the most amazing friend that I was blessed with. We met in Nursing school in 1976 and as I was 1 yr ahead, I graduated first but never lost touch. You were that friend who showed love, there when you need her, but never said too much. Your smile was always noticeable and pleasing. Thank you for the amazing curry and roti you use to make for me, in nursing school and when I visited you. You came all the way to Florida to celebrate my special birthday which added a special touch. So sorry for the illness you went through but God did not want you to suffer anymore. Now you are one of the angels. You are with your ancestors. Memories lives on forever and I give thanks that I had you as a friend with these wonderful memories. You will never be forgotten. Sleep well and Rest In Power beloved.

My darling mother-in-law, my friend missing you everyday is so painful. I am so thankful I got to have a woman as kind, gentle, loving & as special as you were, as my mother-in-law for 23 years. You were all the things a mother-in-law should be and more. Thank you for raising Shaun to be the man he is. And for teaching him your delicious recipes. Thank you for being the devoting nanny you were. And for raising two wonderful women I call my sisters. Just thank you for being you. This hurts real deep, and the tears come in waves, but together we will make you proud. I love you my amazing Grace more than you could ever know 💔 We still had so many more memories to make, but for now we will cherish all the ones we had ❤️ my heart will miss you forever xx

My Sister Grace – I’ll Miss You Always My heart has been left broken since the day we had to let you go; and the memories I treasure dearly, are in the tears that still flow. As kids so close in age, living together we fought, we laughed, and we cried. We shared our dreams, our plans, and some secrets too. All the memories we share is what bonds me now and always to you. We grew to find a love that only ever got stronger, a love shared by our family. You are my sister by the serendipity of life, but I’d choose you again every time. Forever I will cherish you as one the best I was blessed to love. Rest in peace, until we meet again.

Rest in Peace Auntie Grace. Loved by so many and you loved them right back. A kind and caring soul who brought joy to the room. When I was a child and Mum would say we were going to visit you it always felt like an adventure and I couldn’t wait to go and hug you, grateful to have been cared for by you on multiple occasions. I always admired the stories I’ve heard of you and Mum coming to London and training as nurses. Your spirit and presence will live on through your beautiful family ♥️

Condolences to the  Wllabus/Clarke family in this time of grief. I am saddened by the death of my old Mackenzie High School classmate, neighbour and dear friend  Grace. Since she migrated to London we communicated verbally and non-verbally until January  8, 2021 which was our last conversation. To me my Auntie Grace. It’s hard to think of a more caring person. Forever my memories will be of the care she showed everyone every day. From the little things like remembering your birthday and sending a message to calling to see how you are. Auntie Grace has shown me the value of caring for others no matter how small a gesture that is. Even though she was often a woman of few words we all felt that love and care with full force. She was famous for responding to ‘how are you doing?’ with ‘fine’ and I know that she was just that, a fine example to us all. You’ll forever be in our hearts and thoughts.

Wow. Very sad and heartbroken. My music companion and netball player. Was gonna visit you on my next trip to London. Rest in peace my friend.

I will truly miss Grace being in our lives. She was a beautiful soul have a lot of love for her. Still cannot believe it.. But her spirit lives on in her beautiful family. Much love Grace. X
